Learn everything you need to know in order to take your photography to the next level using Adobe Photoshop!
Move along at your own pace in this multi-week Photoshop Course which will be available entirely online, with the option of a one on one in person meeting as part of the final completion of the course to cover any issues or questions that might still remain.
Each week, there will be a lesson which will explain in detail a set of different Photoshop functions and/or tools including step by step directions on how to use each one.
Each lesson will be followed by an assignment, in which each student will be asked to edit a provided photo, as well as one of the student's own photos, using the functions/tools in that lesson.
Once the assignment as been submitted, I will then do an assessment of all images requested for the lesson to make sure that each student completely understands how to use each of the functions/tools covered in the lesson.
Upon completion of the lesson, assignment and assessment, we will then meet together for a live virtual classroom discussion to go over any questions that you might have as well as to discuss any suggestions that I might have in order to insure that you completely understand everything in that lesson and are prepared to move on to the next lesson.
There will be a total of four sets of lessons, assignments, assessments and discussions followed by a final exam that will cover information from all four weeks work. There will also be a final discussion that can be live in an online classroom, or in person on location at the student's expense.
Assignments are set up in weekly formats. However, they can be completed at the students own pace and will be consecutive in the weekly format. All classes are set up to completed within a 90 day period from beginning of course. However, extensions can be provided upon request.

Using layers efficiently and effectively insures all the other tools in Photoshop can be used to their maximum functionality. We will go over all of the basics you will need in order to take your post editing to a new level of awesomeness.
The transformation that your images will take by the end of lesson two will take your overall photography beyond anywhere it has gone before!
Now that we have it down how to edit both JPEG and RAW images in Camera RAW and Photoshop and are efficiently using layers as well as all of the primary Image Adjustment tools, we will delve into some more image specific editing functions such as removing unwanted items and blemishes from images, merging images together to produce more creative images, being able to paint certain parts of an image while leaving other parts untouched and many more.
We will also work on adjusting shadows and highlights within a single image as well as adding multiple images together to make a High Dynamic Range image.

How the Online Courses Work:
Lessons, Assignments and Final Exam:
Once you pay for the course, you will receive the first materials for the class, usually the introduction and first lesson, within 24 - 48 hours, often a lot sooner.
You will look over the material, fill out any questionnaires and registration forms, then begin the first class.
Move through each lesson at your own pace. At the end of each lesson you will find an assignment. Do the assignment and submit it. Once I receive it, I will evaluate it and send a reply back to you with any suggestions that I have for improvements, etc. Then you will receive the next class module. At the end of the course, you will be given a completion exam. Upon passing the exam, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and will leave the course with a whole new skill set that you will help you advance in your journey through the wonderful world of photography.
I will be available after class to help in any way I can as well.
How This Class is Different From Other Online Courses:
One of the main reasons my classes are better than other online courses, is that I personally customize each class to the individual student.
I work one on one with each one from beginning to end and make sure that each student is full grasping all of the material.
We also have the option of meeting at any time in our virtual classroom, on the phone, through email or messenger and in some cases, even in person, to go over any material as needed.
While this course has set lessons throughout each of the modules, I also help with additional information with each student if they need to learn something a little different or a little beyond the scope of this course.
My goal is to make sure that YOU reach your goals in Photoshop and beyond !
